People - All For Themselves
Then came a season of scant seeds and a famine pressed the birds with hunger. The blue jay, seeing the need, would not share his store, saying, “This plenty is mine.” He kept the crumbs and filled his own beak, while the little ones looked on with eyes not of scorn but of thirst and hunger.
2 Timothy 3:2-4 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;”
We see people today that do not think of anyone but themselves. They are very selfish. You see some loving money and pleasure more than God. Some people are rich and will not help one soul. They try to spread envy and brag and boast about the things they have and what they have done. They want the world to see them and they want praise. Some people want to be the only ones on top.
